Frequently Asked Questions

  • I bring over 40 years of experience as a Professional Actor and Classically Trained Singer to tell your stories in my own unique way. Males. Females. Aliens. Animals. Accents both Foreign and Domestic. My purpose is to serve the text and tell the author’s truth to the best of my ability. I am also a trained Audio Engineer and can provide excellent professional studio quality sound that will meet audiobook industry standards and specifications.

  • I will require a fully proofed, edited and record-ready manuscript. As I prepare the manuscript for recording, I will make notes and create a Word.docx with questions for you - no matter how obvious they may seem. I will attach that document to an email for you to make your responses - possibly in a different colored font. Then you can send that document back to me and I will pin it up in my recording booth for reference. It will serve as my guideline during the recording process.

  • Over a decade of experience in recording, editing and mastering 200+ audiobooks and counting. And coaching other narrators how to do so. Not only the storytelling aspect, but with the technical aspects as well. Such as: How to set up a properly sound deadened recording environment. What microphones and/or interfaces to purchase and why. I am also well versed in several different DAW (Digital Audio Workstation - the recording software) platforms.

  • You can reach me anytime via my contact page or directly by email. I check my email several times a day and respond as quickly as possible —usually the same business day.

  • Professional, knowledgeable, honest, straightforward, collaborative and courteous. I not only aim to please and satisfy you but, more importantly, our listening audience as well.
